Thrown out of school for being American in America!!
Since I am writing this from my cell and the incredible app I found, I am going to let you all read that post. I have a lot to say about it, and none of it nice… Mind you, I am not prejudice in any way, half of my heritage is from the “mother land”. Besides, it’s hard to type on these little keys as fast as my mind is going.
That’s what Annicia Nunez, another Live Oak High student, thinks: “We don’t deserve to be get disrespected like that. We wouldn’t do that on Fourth of July.”
I sure hope that was a typo, and that kid didn’t say it as written… I mean either way it’s a prime example of how well that school tax we home owners pay to keep public schools going is doing!!
BTW.. I know some Latino service members who weren’t happy with this either.. and I don’t mean the kids wearing the US Flag on Cinco De Mayo… I think all of us Military look at it as a slap in the face…. no matter what country of origin we come from by birth, or where our parents or a parent came to the US from.
To quote Annicia Nunez, “”We don’t deserve to be get disrespected like that.” *SMIRK*
To quote something well said by Scared Monkeys from his post about this topic….
Here is a quick teaching moment to the misguided Mexican-American HS students:
You know, that very US Constitution that allowed you to march down the street in protest for respect is the very same Constitution that allows these four boys and any one for that fact to where any clothing that they chose.
There are chronically moronic awards going out for this one…
Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez from Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif. for living, working, being in this country and “degrading” that country, which in my opinion degrades all the military people who have fought and died for this country in the process, and Movie Guru Roger Ebert for being one prejudice piece of *enter your choice of words here*. Yes, he has the right to say what he wants to, YOU’RE WELCOME ROGER!

Chronically Moronic Award

Then you realize it is and you just get angry. Now, I have said in earlier posts I would not get into politics and to me, this has nothing to do with politics, just stupidity.
First, the Chronic Stupidity Image.

Find it did ya? Yes folks, I am talking about CNN’s latest quick vote listing in the image
Disclaimer and warning of the day:
I have an issue with the chronically stupid and moronic. I am very outspoken about this chronic ailment, and I do not apologize for anything I say when dealing with the chronically stupid EVER!
I do not know what possessed me to look at cnn.com tonight. I have had a reasonably decent day today, maybe it was the need to see that other peoples’ lives were worse then mine at the moment. Considering that one of my husbands is deployed currently, the News is not something I do often, at least not CNN anyway.
With all the things going on in the world, war, famines, a pending depression and the fallen economy, earthquakes in Portugal; CNN could find nothing better to poll about then “Should Information about Women Who Get Abortions Be Posted Online?” Considering the state, is this REALLY going to do any good?
As much as I hate to admit, it was the second thing to catch my eye on their page. The first one being “Facebookers rage against Simon Cowell”… says a lot about me doesn’t it? I could have lied and said that it was “Powerful female entrepreneurs”, I am human, sue me. (To those of you inflicted with Chronic Stupidity, that will never stand up in court!)
8 percent of the people who voted feel that if you as a woman decide to have an abortion, you should be plastered all over the internet. As what? I guess that is the real question here. Is their an Abortion Offenders list somewhere we don’t know about? Kinda lumped in with the Sex Offenders list? Who’s business is it anyway what YOU decide to do with your own body?
I am not going to air my views on abortion, that is something that is mine to hold on to. I do however believe in a person’s right to privacy. I also do not believe that a government, a state or a religion should tell anyone how to live their lifes, or what to do. So many have died to give us all rights we should be entitled to from the moment we take our first breath on this earth…. FREEDOM!
I am appalled at CNN for even taking the time to post that kind of poll in the first place. There are so many other more important things that we should be discussing and voting on that this. I guess what ever causes controversy or sells headlines is what works for them. The poll is tied to this news article.
The law, passed in May, requires doctors to fill out a 10-page questionnaire for every abortion performed, including asking the woman about her age, marital status, race and years of education. In all, there are 37 questions the women are to answer.
Lets push it back to the days of illegal abortions in unsanitary conditions, back seats of a car and wire hangers in a bathroom shall we?
This is a GREAT QUOTE!
Troy Newman, the head of the Kansas-based anti-abortion group Operation Rescue, said the law is “designed so that the pregnant mother can have as much information as technology and medicine will allow.”
“Naturally, the abortion industry wants to block this, because they know the more information the mom has, the less likely she is to abort her baby,” Newman said.
Granted, some women do use abortion as a form of birth control, but this will push a pregnant teen farther away from getting help during a pregnancy don’t you think? Don’t we have too many babies now being shoved into a trash can after they are born? Babies being born preterm or with issues because the mother did NOT get prenatal care due to various reasons, including being afraid of anyone finding out due to being a teen? Where’s Operation Rescue on that issue?
In reading this article, there are things that I can possibly agree with. I just do not agree with posting this information on a website. Great, ask the questions, like all medical records, it needs to stay out of the public eye, you know patient doctor privilege, it is not a matter of public record considering it can’t be used even in a court of law with out special circumstances.
doctor-patient privilege definition – legal
n
A legal privilege, arising from a doctor’s obligation of confidentiality, that forbids the doctor from disclosing any information or testifying about confidential health matters or communications from a patient, unless the patient waives the privilege. —-Webster’s New Law Dictionary
I have a great idea! While we are at it, let’s finish throwing out the constitution, amendments, bill of rights and all that idiocracy once and for all! Our founding fathers did NOT know what they were doing!!
The Chronically Moronic award goes to:
Toughie…. I am not sure if the award should go to Oklahoma State Sen. Todd Lamb who helped draft the abortion legislation and describes it as “a common sense measure with bipartisan support.” (Separation of church and State Sen Lamb? Ever heard of it?)
OR
Oklahoma County District Judge Daniel Owens who denied the state’s motion to dismiss the case, putting the measure on hold until a February 19 hearing. This should be a no brainer.
Make it easy on myself… Double Award…
